Bagger for wood pellets
Form-Fill-Seal Bagger
& Robotic Palletizer

The wood pellet bagging machines made by Concetti group are Form-Fill-Seal baggers making their own bags from rollstock (tubular PE reels), which provides savings compared to pre-made bags.

FFS Baggers model FFS-E are technologically advanced solutions for bagging biomass fuels, which can be fully integrated with bag inspection and robotic palletizing to deliver systems tailored to customer needs.

The main advantages of Form Fill Seal Baggers:

  • Very high capacity outputs, over 1800 bags/hour
  • Safe, stable, reliable and above all fast
  • Monobloc with easy access for cleaning & inspection
  • Clean workplace free of spillage

The FFS-E is equipped with three operating stations: one for the bag bottom formation and the film cutting based on the desired bag length, the second for the filling cycle and the third for bag top sealing. A corner-welding feature produces bags that are squarer, better for palletizing and more capacious.

The operating phases and the changeover of the machine operating parameters are PLC-assisted and can be completed in a very short amount of time, without any operator intervention, thanks to the actuators mounted on the machine. The monobloc structure, equipped with inspection doors, makes the system perfectly safe for the operator.
